It's that time again, I can't believe it's Thursday already. Where has this week gone?
This week I'm especially thankful for being able to be a stay at home mom. That's actually a little hard for me to write, but when I honestly think about it, I am truly thankful to spend these few years at home.
I'm not one of those natural stay at homies that love every minute with their child and nurture their growing child every day purposefully. I love working, I love leaving the house, I love adult conversation, I love having a schedule.
But I hope that Max staying home with me during this time will make a difference later in his life. I love getting to spend so much time with him and be around for those milestones and colds and everyday mundane activities that we get to do day in and day out.
I don't know for sure that I'll always be able to stay home with the kids, but I am truly thankful for the chance to do it so far!
Leave me a comment and tell me what you're THANKFUL for this week! :)

A fantastic thing to be thankful for. I think I would be like you, if I ever have the opportunity to have little 'blessings' of my own! Blessings to you this weekend.
Thanks for sharing your heart dear one.
I LOVED my career at NASA and was afraid that I would not be content with being a stay at home mom. But I have had the honor of being a full time wife and mother for 11 years now, and I am seeing a HUGE difference in my family compared to my friends who have had their focus on other things. You can always go back to a career, but you can never turn back the hands of time and have a 2 year old again. Enjoy your time together, my friend.
I agree. I am so thankful to be home with our daughter. I love conversation too, that explains blogspot and facebook. Ha.
Many blessings to you!

I will chime in with the rest-- I am very thankful to be at home with Elijah:) We notice a great difference between him and other children his age in terms of security, and I think that's because he has the time with his parents/me that other children miss out on. What a blessing to have my work be getting to know my child and helping him to develop into the man God made him to be! Blessings, Amy
